Why would it not invalidate warranty? Those parts are going to see much more torque than they would with the factory tune, and they are pretty marginal at the already high torque coming out of the 2.0 engine. If you want more torque than what is already enough to spin the rubber at highway speeds, then you're going to need the heavier HF55 trans from the Transit van and the heavier halfshafts from the Tremor. Oh and don't forget the wider rubber that won't fit in the wheelwell. That's not contrarian, that's a reality check.
No that's just absurd.

I won't need bigger tires and I already have the half shafts - which won't face any additional stress due to increased torque.

8F35 is the known weak point in the Maverick EB drivetrain, no surprises there but it holds just well to the abuse others like @Fast Mavericks and @Dueces have subjected it to - which I won't be doing any of.

You need to research a little before you spout off about reality.

I agree but they also denied all of my warranty claims on a brand new, stock, Bronco so you don't need to mod your vehicle for Ford to squirm out of any responsibility. I have a good relationship with my dealer too and they were mostly helpful in attempting to get work covered under warranty but Ford wouldn't budge.

If I get a bad CV axle like others have experienced - and my vehicle is stock besides the tune - my expectation would be that Ford will replace that CV axle under warranty as it would not be impacted by the tune itself.

Now my expectation vs. reality is a different story and given Ford's track record it would really be a crapshoot whether or not they warranty any claim regardless of modifications.
A note to all,the axle shafts are failing on vehs without a tune just saying

I expect them to use any and all excuses to avoid a warranty claim. It's one of the reasons I went Japanese years ago - they might still weasel out of a claim but it's less likely you will have a claim in the first place.

A note to all,the axle shafts are failing on vehs without a tune just saying
axle shafts are not stressed by additional torque. They are stressed by larger, heavier tires and wheels and lifts that change the angle exerting force on them.

If an axle shaft fails on my Tremor, it would not be due to the additional torque of the tune.

Looking to make a few more pounds of boost with the 2023 maverick 2.0 AWD without breaking the bank. Any help would be much appreciated tks VP
The simple answer is to run 93 octane gas if you aren't already. That will get you a couple pounds to go along with increased timing, and ~15 or so extra HP/TQ, as compared to 87 gas.

If you want more relatively simply & cheaply, I would also recommend a Livernois tune. I ran their 93 perf tune on my 2.7 F150 for about 40k miles with no issues, and it was impressive. The (potential) warranty issue is something to consider if you go this route.

Yes it’s had 93 since I took it home. I’m trying to find a no footprint add on product to help the 93 octane.I had a Cobb 93 octane stage 1 on my 2015 ecoboost mustang along with a few xtras and it rocked. I’m hearing about a company named Panda that may have something. Tks VP
