Made from premium billet aluminum, Boomba Racing is excited to announce our Intake Manifold/Throttle body Spacers combo for the 2.0 Ecoboost Ford Maverick

This spacers adds volume to the air entering your head. This has been shown to aide in cylinder filling at lower RPM, smooth out throttle response, build boost sooner, and lengthen the effective wave pulse of the intake charge. In the picture shown above, you can see the dyno charts of this spacer paired with our throttle body spacer and the gains are tremendous. Over 30 ft lbs of torque (in using both spacers) and a significant change in the horsepower curve.

The IM spacer also includes 8 1/8" NPT threaded ports that can be used for aftermarket injection set-ups such as Aquamist. They come with plugs for those just wanting to use the spacer on its own.

-All hardware is included (corrosion resistant)

-Comes with engine cover stud relocation kit (allows you to use stock engine cover)

-Smooths air entering the cylinders

-Does not require a re-tune

-Greatly increases throttle response

-Improves MPG

-Build boost earlier

-Available in blue, red, black, and natural finish

Funny how impulsive I am...as well as how much I have always enjoyed your products from way back! Ordering mine now!

Lol BUT which one do I order? The Maverick is not one of the choices. Anxiously awaiting. 😉

How would this pair with someone running a 93 octane adaptive tune from BCB? This looks like it would definitely help lower the 60' time.

Running a tune without the OEM ECU restrictions will help provide nice gains with the spacers.

Thank you for providing a dyno graph! How did the af/r change?

very interesting!

Edit to add: can you clarify what’s happening at the top of the rev range too? Is that a gain or loss? Trying to get the complete picture.

Thank you for your support, A/F looked great throughout the whole range of the run. There are also some small gains at the very top RPM's however as you can see due to the nature of most 4 cylinder turbo engines they peak early for that low-mid range power but fall off near the top.

Nothing that a future turbo upgrade cannot fix! ;)

That is correct however choosing the correct turbo setup is also very important. If the turbo is very peaky in the upper RPM's but takes a while to spool you most likely will lose a ton of low-mid range torque which will feel slower in regular DD unless you're romping on it.

Of course. ;).
Bigger isn't always better, but in the case of the maverick..Maverick... its a tiny turbo back there. A few upgrades and its maxed out efficiency wise. Turbo sizing is critical, as is mapping for the new turbo.
