Bluetooth constantly disconnecting!

I know there are other threads on this, but the consistent Bluetooth disconnect is so stupid I wanted to open yet another thread to bump this to the top.

It’s not like bluetooth is new tech. Heck my cheapo bluetooth earbuds never disconnect. So why is Fords bt so unstable? Did they get some bargain basement deal on defective chips? Did they think we wouldn’t notice?

They really need to fix this soon! Ford rep, are you there? Any updates on when/if Ford will address this?

Yes it’s terrible on my too. Phone calls are non existent. I have to plug in to use carplay

Reset network settings and forget the saved device doesn't solve it? All firmware/software up to date? You can force update via USB.

I've honestly never had an issue, but I know it exists. Try those things.

I'm at 14 months having mine. I've never experienced what you're describing. I recently installed an adapter dongle, so it automatically connects and plays the last thing I was playing, every time I start the truck. It does take about 10-20 seconds to connect, otherwise it works great. I frequently take 2hr drives, streaming pod casts and music. I use GPS, text, make calls and I don't recall ever having issues with bt connectivity.
I wonder if your problem could be with your phone, or perhaps your truck needs to flashed, reset or whatever they do. I would be surprised if it's a hardware thing. But hopefully you can get it fixed under the warranty.
