Hey Glen -- a picture really doesn't show much. The divot is something you feel. Once you remove your arm the vinyl mostly flattens out, but the place where I put my elbow is MUCH softer than the surrounding foam.
Hi Guys,
Anybody else finding that the foam on the drivers side armrest is garbage, and is already collapsing after just one year?
When I drive I usually rest my arm on the door armrest with my hand on the wheel. After just one year I have a significant divot in the armrest where my elbow...
Grabbiest dang brakes I've ever had. Especially first thing in the morning.
I called my local dealer and they told me that overnight (on a damp night) a think layer of rust accumulates on the discs and this causes the initial grabbiness. It does go away (mostly) after a block or so. But still...
Does anybody know of, or hacked, some sort of rain hood for the backup camera?
I live in Oregon and the dang camera is always wet with big drops of water distorting my view.
Thanks!

Anybody else experience signifiant brake grab when the brakes are cold/wet?
As the weather is getting colder now the brakes are really annoying when first starting out. I lurch like I’m popping aclutch when I just touch the brakes.
Anyone else? Any fix?
One nice thing about having this un-safety feature disabled is that I’m not the only driver of the Mav. My wife also drives it occasionally and she definitely does not remember to push all the pre-flight buttons. By turning it off I don’t have to worry about the car shutting off in traffic. I...
My experience is this is a complete disable. You can push the button, the nag screen will say its either on or off, but it does not do anything. This fox seems to completely disable ass
It costs about $200 for the device that turns off a/s/s that plugs into the odb2 port. Many folks have been searching for a working Forscan hack. This is it and if you know how to use Forscan it’s free :)
Thanks to our friend @Golfsnob we now have a confirmed, working Auto Start/Stop Delete using just Forscan!
This is the same technique used on the Ford Bronco that was previously mentioned in other threads AND on the Bronco forums. @Golfsnob has both a Bronco and a Maverick and used the...
Yes it does. But some of us prefer to not use the Ford pass app.
In addition to being not very secure and collecting all our data, the app is considerably slower to use. Key fob is fast and easy. And now cheap.
Hey Mavheads,
I just successfully added Remote Start to my 2023 EB for just $99. Super easy (about 10 minutes install). Uses standard key fob (lock-unlock-lock). Works like a charm. Only cost $99. Just in time for the wet/cold Oregon winter.
