Received the much anticipated ‘You’ve been scheduled’ email May 20, which included this nugget: “While you wait, check out the status of your order at any time by clicking the button below”.

Unfortunately, clicking the button below hasn’t worked, every time, all the time, at any time.

Somewhere deep within Blue Oval Dearborn, I envision a staff meeting with this revelation “and the next item on the agenda is the Red Herring known as ‘Track Your Order’. Debbie in Accounting won the O/U for # of failed attempts last week with her submittal of 20,000 clicks. Great job people, keep it up!”

mine works again today (not the link in the email, but https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking) for the first time in a couple of weeks. Has probably worked 6 out of 100 times.

To Espeer: nope, nuthin', I'm still batting 'oh fer' in that link. Just the same "Order Confirmed" screen, same as it's been since 9-20-2021 ish...

To Olderbudwiser: escaped the Corporate soul crushing desensitizing sameness machine 2 years ago, where 'The Peter Principle' was well oiled and hummin', pushing the unqualified UP to a tangible level of their incompetance, quotes such as "I don't need to know your business to run your business" were common and Zoom calls were made barely tolerable by the always entertaining side game of 'BS Bingo'. Very important to be muted if/when you scored a winner!

Oh yes, no complaints in that arena, just pointing out when an entity suggests ‘check on the status whenever you want’, it’d be helpful if the link actually worked.

My Salesman, who I clued in on this, informed me his visibility report now shows a 6-23 start, a push back that was expected.

Oh well…

My morning surprise…

Opened an email from Blue Oval, informing of a schedule change from 6-13 to the week of 6-20.

The 6-20 date marks the 9-month gestation of this birth from order entry, exactly as predicted by my Salesman, even with his “without any glitches or supply chain issues” caveat.

Nailed it, so different a set of expectations from those whining ‘cuz they ordered a hybrid just before the November cutoff and don’t have it today. Do feel for the June orders still in queue.

Tracked with a Santa Cruz yesterday, weird angles and all. A bit like a mutant Brat or genetically engineered ElCamino. Not for me…

Same here. https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking only works once or twice a week.
After Order # & VIN are put in, it just returns to the same entry screen.
Earlier this week, my Maverick HYBRID showed 'In Production', like it did a month ago.
Last month (when I got the website to work), the week after it showed 'In Production', it went back ot 'On Order'. Ford keeps occasionally emailing, bumping to production date out a week or so.
Today the website appears broken (default).
So much for communication.
Last week I chased down a guy with a Lariat HYDRID who said his delivery was 9 months. We'll see...
