It looks to be a lanolin-based product with a creeping agent. There are also several others using the same ingredients. Its a soft material that will need to be re-applied every year, but it will certainly do a much better job than the hard undercoating products. Don't forget to drill and cap holes into blind body and frame areas to spray it in, or you'll get rusting from the inside-out.

I've been in the undercoating racket for a few years. S.S. is the newest Lanolin based undercoating to the market, along with Fluid Film and Wool Wax. All three are great products but have slightly different 'personalities'. Yes, its DIY, as long as you can get your vehicle up in the air and get under it.
How long it lasts is subjective. No two vehicles see the same amount of miles, snow, slush, & general crap in the Winter. There are a few general basics to follow to get it to last.

I spent several hours doing mine. Recommend following RepairGeek on YouTube and getting a sprayer. Several underbody and wheel well covers will have to be removed and you'll want to do a thorough job to ensure you get it inside body cavities. I used a little more than a gallon, but I intentionally went overboard. Good luck!
