the cutting wasn't bad...........there's several templates with measurements posted here, it's INSTALLING the dang thing that's the tough part, due to the chain hooks on the factory hitch, makes it a tight fit.

I would say this add in the bed, in my opinion it looks nicer and is 300 bucks cheaper than FORDS OEM kit

Sounds about right. One thing I didn't get either, but I had one previously in a Tacoma because of the space and angle, and it worked great. Just thought I'd mention it along with the center console trays that pretty much everyone gets now days
