Bed storage box upgrade: from combo lock to key lock

I used these with the offset plate.
I think there may have been a bit of mod required to the door plastic.
Or this was my 2nd one bought because it did not require any mod.
Pretty sure the latter. Installed back in Oct 24, forgot.

Mine was the 5/8's size.

Did you already modify the size of the door hole for prior locks that it required larger size?
Probably good to know.

I didn't have to modify anything and it worked on both of my storage bins from two different manufacturers

Good change, but guess what? I'm old to and the next thing is, we start to lose THE KEY!!! Haha. Can't they invent a "siri" gal inside that little box that responds to "Hey girl, open the door"??

This time around you didn't have to modify anything, or when you installed the coded locks you didn't have to modify anything?

Because if my 5/8's went right in (and I had no prior changes to 24MY OEM turn handles) - your linked 3/4 size is going to requiring some removal of plastic.

Curious what other manufacturer makes a storage bin that fits in the side well of the Maverick?
Or you mean door cover?

I guess they could have changed the hole size on the 25/26MY.

I bought two different storage boxes from Amazon, replaced the combo locks with the ones I showed you. I didn't have to modify anything at all.

Well - that's nice the 25/26MY comes with coded locks.
Except when too tiny to read.

I have a bed storage box almost side to side in front of them.
They can open and doors come off easily enough to get stuff out.
But I'd never be able to see the codes either, totally have to swap those out.
Annoying enough with key in the dark already.
