Bed liner missing part solution

As others here have posted, my Ford Accessory Bed liner arrived missing one little piece - it only had one of the two little clips that receive the screws that secure the back of the liner.
Rather than sending the whole thing back to Ford I checked auto supply stores, Amazon, and eBay but couldn’t find the part.
Ended up using plumbers tape to fashion my own version of the clip. I was careful torquing it down but it holds well.

NAPA would have that , we called a J nut at the factory.

That’s what I thought - but I took the part to NAPA, Autozone, O’Reilly, and Advance and none of them carried them. Glad to know they are called a J nut. Couldn’t figure out what to call it.

I am surprised you did not find this part at NAPA. NAPA has a Rack Dedicated for parts like this. The rack is Orange in color. They even have a book which contains the most common fasteners.
