I replaced my 2000 F150 2wd with a 2006 f150 FX4 lariat super crew over the weekend. Something a little more reliable for hauling larger loads. Only one key and no card to show the master code for the keyless entry ☹. Choices are to pay $50 at the dealership to get it, or get it off the module behind the backseat. Removing the backseat is a giant PIA due to the two clips at the bottom on each side. Circled in the pic, getting to it requires going between the cushions with a long screwdriver, above the bar on bottom of seat back, between the opening, at an upward angle, and pushing the clip back. Or reaching around behind the seat and squeezing the clip with your hand, I could t get to it that way. Once you get it, it seems really simple, and I used zip ties to hold the clips back in case I ever need to get back there again. Long story short, I got the master code and was able to wipe out whatever code was there and put in my own code. Never want to do that again!!!!!

The code is under the passenger firewall removable panel on a Maverick, near the fuse box.

Write it down somewhere, that is the permanemt code and will always work or let your ex change it when she gets the truck.

Forscan should be able to pull the code and change it to your liking (at least I can on my Ford Edge)

once I had the master code, it was easy to change and add my own, not sure if it was worth saving the $50 in aggravation of getting the back seat out?
