I like some others have been have trouble with my Maverick being in constant deep sleep mode. I have a 22 Maverick Lariat FX4 with co-pilot. I had a Thinkware front and rear dash cam sold and installed by Ford. I was using the Ford Pass app and the ATT wifi. After reading some posts I disabled Ford PASS on Mav in settings and deleted the app. I also turned off the wifi. I then recharged the battery and most features like the touch auto door locks to open doors, interior lights, remote start, have started to work again. I also did a battery reset. The only thing that still will not work is the auto stop start. Even if the auto start stop is activated it does not work., and on the dash i get the (A- smybol) with the line thru it.

I ran a battery test and took some pics. If someone could help me decipher the numbers i would appreciate it!

If you've recharged the battery you may need to do a BMS reset to get the Auto-Start/Stop working.

Turn key on (but no start), flash high beams 5 times, press/release brake pedal 3 times. There will typically be a delay and then the battery light should flash to confirm success.

Sorry i mentioned i did a battery reset. What i should have said was i did the BMS reset. After the reset it still did not work, but the A, on the dash that i assume is saying that the Auto Start Stop is disabled appeared, which was not on prior to the reset.

That icon means that, while the vehicle is stopped in Drive, the conditions are not met for Auto Start/Stop.

Somewhere in the menus on the instrument cluster LCD, there should be an option for Auto Start/Stop status. If that crossed out A icon is on, that menu screen would tell you why the engine isn't off - charging, climate (heat), etc. If the engine is cold, it will stay on, for instance. It'll stay on until it's been able to warm up enough, so you might notice that the engine doesn't turn off early in your drives, but it will after you've been driving for a while. The amount of time naturally depends on how cold it is outside.

Thank you, I will check that out.
Does anyone have help on the battery test numbers? Should I have Dealer look at battery?

My truck did the same thing, especially when it got cold about 3 weeks ago.
Wouldn’t hold a charge, setting the bms didnt help and of course wouldn’t start without a jump start.thursday dealer put in new battery and reset bms.seems to be fine and its still cold so i will see what happens.carry it to your dealer

Funny thing is, I went to the dealer last week for my first oil change and i brought this issue up to the service writer. His response was, oh you have a dash cam, you can't have a dash cam that records when truck is off it will drain the battery. I said the cam was bought from Ford and installed by you. Most of the people having this same issue don't even have dash cams. I will probably call the dealer and explain the situation before I even take it in., TY!
