I’m not quite sure why all the hybrid owners say the AGM batteries are the be all end all! I have a 24 EcoBoost with the AGM bat, and have had problems. I still have to charge it up fully and don’t understand why! Even when I go to the dealer they put it on the charger while doing other work! Why I ask, just because they say. And people on the MTC wonder why some of us get”upset” because of sh\T that should not happen!!! Ah well, it’s a cheap mini-truck!
An AGM battery should be completely unnecessary on the Hybrid, since the increased cranking power is not used on a vehicle with no 12V starter. However, it does delay the dreaded sulfation death due to the bad BMS issue. It does not solve it, but only delays it. At twice the price and with the easy swap in the back seat, that's a pretty hard sell, and the 2025 models that got the AGM as the factory battery are now starting to see the same sulfation issue popping up as they get a bit older.

LMAO! THE DEAD BATTERY ISSUE! A new full Ev truck coming soon for 30k. I wouldn't touch it! This is guaranteed to have problems and be 5000 more than stated. When they retool for this they need to get qualified engineers and make sure it works before releasing to the public.

They should be fined for being a gross polluter. Thousands of dead batteries!

yes, I mean don’t have a hybrid… Sorry my mistake! My profile list my first Maverick, which I bought Richt to test drive to make sure I actually wanted it before pre-ordering the truck that I have now which is a 2024, which I have had under a year! Could the battery be that bad that it is dying in less than a year? was there a recall on all batteries? I did not receive a notification from Ford about any recall.

Others got confused and thought you had a hybrid - I did not.
Now you've gotten confused on the misquoted posts.

Your profile info still says you have a 22MY - might figure out how to correct that - or you'll cause more confusion on your own.

So as my post said - IF you had a 22 you could have had a Flooded Lead Acid (FLA) battery - which is what the recall would have been on.

You have a 24MY - so that doesn't apply.
And you indeed have an AGM battery as expected.

You have a bad battery - take it in.
