Looking for input on the easiest/simplest way to clean the truck. I don't want it to stand out and be noticeable so no super glossy finish or detailing or anything just want to keep it in good condition and protect the paint the best I can. I was thinking of using optimum no rinse (or their regular car wash) and then their spray wax. Is that good enough or should I be looking at other products. I have no clue what to use since I've always had family hand me down beaters and just drove through a car wash but not going to do that when i get the mav.
the California duster works great when you don't have mud to clean off. they have a pair one for the outside and a small one for the inside [like the dash]

I usually prefer not to mention brands and start a brand war that no one ever wins, but if you want easy, and easily obtainable from Amazn or W@lmart, grab these items. Buy the right stuff and half your work is done for you. This is about as simple as you get for a water bucket wash and it's a time saver for busy people. I'm also not looking to debate methods, this is a traditional method everyone knows and you won't dread doing it. Actually doing the work is half the battle.

clean:
Chemical Guys snow foam (any scent works the same, and they're ph balanced).
Snow foam gun, or a garden hose sprayer with a plastic screw-on fill container works.
Chemical Guys waffle towel or two (they're a 70/30 blend that won't scratch).
One bucket works but you can look up the 2 bucket method and buy bucket screens if you want.
Stoner auto glass cleaner.

protect:
Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax (wipe on and instantly wipe off).
Microfiber (use only 70/30 blend) applicators or towels.

interior plastics:
Microfiber towel. I have 2 dogs, resolves 99% of the hairs, and a good interior surface spray like Meguiars does the rest like clean off a gunky steering wheel.

I can tell you how to use them and be done in two hours every two months. This is just cleaning, other issues with clearcoat require other effort.
