The 19" tires have more "Electrical vehicle" designed tires available for them that 17".
$500 is not bad at all plastidip is like $100 as diy. I have an ecoboost but I was looking at 17s for cheaper tires and all terrains.

How much did it cost you- I thought about powdercoating copper or spray painting black. I'm over here looking for someone that wants to trade the standard 25 Lariat wheels for 17" XLTs lol
Same here on the swap Lariat Wheels for XLT wheels. I’ve got a 23 and a 24
Hybrid Lariat that I’d like the 17 “ XLT wheels they would give me a softer ride than the 18” s do.

I've not noticed a bad ride but the more rubber you can get the better for sure. There are a few bronco sport wheels that fit the bill but no Mavericks in the junkyards unfortunately.

Black looks soo much better than the blindingly bright machined wheels on the 25.

Yea, I prefer black over the black and chrome 18’s of the Lariat. If if were able to switch the standard size 18s to standard size 17s would give me a taller sidewall so softer ride. I don’t really need the lower profile for handling as I drive very conservatively

I have white wheels on a motorcycle. All I do is wash, then, use a spray detailer to keep them spotless. They’re white base coat, silver pearl coat, then, clear coat.

I actually like the2025 19" Lariat Wheels better than my 18" BAP wheels from the 23. The BAP on my 23 is more of a matte finish and hard to keep looking good, or maybe I just don't like the dull look.

Where did the guards at the bottom of the doors come from? Are they actually functional?

I agree with you. For 23-24 and 25 both, BAP wheels are entirely matte black versions of another factory wheel and I prefer the silver versions. in this thread, though, I wanted to support the OP's goals. he wanted black he got it :)

I traded the 17's on my 2025 XLT for the 19" Lariat wheels and I didn't notice any difference whatsoever in ride quality. There's still plenty of sidewall on the 19's for city driving.

I'd probably like my BAP wheels better if they were glossy on the 23.

I do a lot of driving on washboard gravel roads go out to our farm in the Ozarks. So more sidewall means a little softer ride.

Isn't the expensive part of the BAP the headlights and tail lights?

I wondered about powder coating the wheels because of the heat. But I guess a lot of folks do it. A nice clear coat sounds good tho.
Most are powder coated fron the factory
