BAK Revolver vs Tri-Fold Covers & Line-x Application

After watching this promo I think I want to get a BAK Revolver X4s, any owners willing to comment on their satisfaction?

How would it compare to the tri-folds mentioned in this thread?

Also, I was thinking about getting Line-X, do y'all leave the bulkhead naked or have them cover it?

I'd be using my Maverick box for a mountain bike, luggage, camping gear, groceries.

Have had a BAK Revolver X4 for over 6 months and love it. No problem with water, so easy to use, durable and offers better protection for cargo than anything on the market. If I am parked on an incline, most of the time when I have it rolled up, I can just unroll it and it will lock itself. One of the better products made. I have tried 2 trifolds and cannot stand them when you need full use of the bed. I would just as soon have a cheap Amazon special $179 roll up as a good trifold. I know some will slam me, but that is just my opinion and I am entitled to it just like you are entitled to yours.

So I called the number and asked for Alex. Apparently there are more than one Alex working there, and I didn't have a last name. The person I was speaking to was a female named Walker (I assume that's her last name). Naturally, she was eager to help and displace Alex, so I purchased the X4s cover from her for $1088.00 plus Florida tax. Other prices I've seen have been for a little over $1200.00, so I thought it was a fair price, if not great. There wasn't one in stock, and the estimated delivery date is May 29.

So I ordered the BAK X4S from Real Truck back in April and got my truck in July. Too hot to install here in AZ when I got my truck but finally got it put on yesterday.

Installation was easy and straight forward. I like how it fits and I believe it will have good durability. I also like how it’s all black when rolled up especially on my BAP.

One complaint. The back left molded corner piece (plastic) fell out of the cover as I unrolled it on the bed. The plastic attachment snap on clip was broken. Not sure why these need to be snap on at all. I suppose so it can be replaced if the entire piece gets cracked somehow. For the price $1200 these need to be something other than plastic.

I have sent an email to BAK. I’ll report back on how they handle it.

Notified Real Truck and they put me in touch with BAK and not only did they send a replacement they sent two for each corner. All fixed now.
