Bad wiring harness - shorting issue anyone?

Not good news, the wiring harness need is on back order.. Stuck in limbo

I feel bad for you. Hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised and it'll be quicker than you think. These are awesome trucks, and I would probably cry if something happened to my baby.

Update, three weeks today my trucks been at the shop.. 2 weeks to find the problem which included taking the dash out, the front seats and the center console…
Friday I was told the wiring harnesses were on back order… They were going to talk with Ford tech to see if it was doable to repair damaged wires..
I didn’t want them repaired wanted the new harnesses..
fortunately they got the new harnesses..
Hoping to get my truck back soon…
The only good thing is my dealer that did the recall, the service dept that’s working on my (different than the one I bought from) are aware of the problem with reinstalling the air bags and have reported this back to Ford..
In fact service dealer told me they have had two come in with same issue and new right away what the problem was…

Thank you for the updates. I am still dragging my feet about getting the recall done. I keep reading about issues and hearing about unskilled workers. Grease and pinched wires.....amature mistakes.

Knock on wood, it’s been fine. Sounds like these airbag replacement are causing problems if not done correctly
