Bad luck and bad timing

After ordering a 2022 and reordering a 2023 and waiting for 18 months, I gave up hope that I would get built this year and I had made up my mind that I was not going to reorder again, on Tuesday of this week I found a 2023 Honda crv hybird the color I wanted for 500 under msrp I bought it, then two days later I get email from Ford that Maverick will be built end of July . Is that bad luck or what

If you decide not to keep the CRV I would be interested! Sounds like you had a good week. My wife wants a CRV, not a Mav hybrid.

On the bright side, at least the immediate depreciation factor for a used car is not as bad today as it was historically. I’m not sure what kind of taxes you are in for with your state but hopefully you could get out close to break even either way.
