Road water splashing up a contributing factor?

Turtle Wax hybrid ceramic wax? That stuff is seriously awesome and underrated. It works great on windshields.Dumb question, but wouldn't one of the tailgate emblem rings extend the trim out far enough to keep most of the water off the camera? - Seem like they'd basically accomplish the desired outcome?
Most of the time the drops are enough to both me when reversing, although maybe it's my compulsion of applying the hybrid(ceramic) wax to the emblem & camera, as well as the tailgate, which helps minimize the issue? - Or having the tonneau, or cab spoiler affecting the air flow against the tailgate?
Unfortunately, the 2025 has the same problem.such a dumb design. i wonder if the 2025 suffers from it.
