So my infotainment center was updated to the same on thats in a Lincoln Navigator which my freind has. I noticed that his back up vidow is very clear as opposed to the Maverick. Question is if I swap the camera out for a lincoln navigator camera is it reasonable to expect better quality?

I'm going to bet the existing camera already sends higher resolution than the screen could display, so the module sending the video to the screen reduces it down in quality, while adding the lines.

Did your screen swap include a different module, or just the screen?

I would agree with "HeyBales" post. Was the screen and all related modules/hardware replaced or just the screen? I would "assume" the cameras on the different trim levels of the maverick are the same - I have no idea??? Also not sure which trim level of your MY23 Tremor is. If its the XLT version and only the screen replaced, I would assume the hardware might be the issue. If its the Lariat that came with the B&O system then I'm at a loss. I don't have any issues with the clarity on my MY22 Lariat with the B&O system screen clarity, granted "clarity" definitions I guess could vary from different individuals perspectives 🤷‍♂️

Good questions. I don't know ehere the modules you speak of are located. I was assuming the Lincoln infotainment certer consisted of for than just the display.

Who did the update - did they break-out Forscan?

Modules would have had to be programmed for your VIN, plus several other settings since bigger display. Bigger, right?

Your paperwork would likely mention everything they did if you were charged for it.

Darthie, so I'm not knowledgeable on this tech stuff, sorry, so i poked around with the search feature about xlt audio upgrade, so I "think" the hardware/modules items I related to previously might be called the "APIM" and "ACM". Hopefully someone that has experience can chime in, I'm certainly not much help. Good luck in getting it going to your satisfaction.

just saying: that i had a 2015 gmc sierra with an atrocious backup display but once i installed an aftermarket camera lense, it was crystal clear.
my '24 EcoB display sucks.
