I’ve searched the forums for a few months now and have found nothing, been to the dealer twice now and they can’t pin point the issue and sent it to the ford engineers. The issue I’ve been having is a constant shimmy, shake, or vibration and a loud clunk from the front end (that seems to bounce from side to side) when braking and turning, or turning into a driveway or lot that has a higher or lower grade. Now the dealer only drives a couple miles and the issue can be heard, but the longer it’s driven the worse it gets, which is what the service department keeps saying “wait until it gets worse“ By the time they look at my car it has been sitting for hours, so basically they hear the click once and claim I’m over reacting, I say this because the first time I went the mechanic couldn’t duplicate it and then went on to tell me “his wife has an ecosport and when the auto hold is on it makes noises“ as if I don’t know a problem from an annoyance, so I left and on my way home it got real bad again so I drove all the way back to drive the mechanic and he wouldn’t go so the service guy went And showed him auto hold was off! Anyways does anyone else have this issue or have seen anything about it, dealer says everything is tight!

If you’re in AWD on dry pavement then that would make sense when it disengages the rear axle.

You may have the nanny kicking in with the ABS. Try disabling the stability control and then go to those dreaded places.

It goes between awd and fwd constantly, depending on the situation and amount of throttle. No audible noise when switching and unless you are watching the power distribution screen you can't even tell when it goes from fwd to awd.

I think you misread something, this issue also happens on just regular bends. The issue is a real issue and they know it, they also Agree just can’t figure out where from, again they only drive the car a mile or two then go straight to the lift and check to make sure everything is tight once that’s done that’s all they want to do, just advise me to drive it until something breaks, which will end up being parts that are not covered lol.

Why wouldn’t parts be covered? It’s not like a 5 year old vehicle. They advised you what to do. Just take it to another dealer for a second opinion.
