August Build Date Shipping Update

Hoping man ! call ford CS mine was pushed back though while still in my window. but then again you never know ! LOL. I am trading my ranger with carvana and just going to be using my Mark 7 in the mean time !

LOL! I sold my Focus ST in July. Funny you have a Mark 7, I have a Mark 8 I'm driving for the time being.

VIN means very little as to production date, at least in my case, mine is 69075 . Ordered 8/210/21 in production since 8/10 returned to body shop ETA was this month, NO TRUCK!

So what is the significance of a ramp number? Seen some posts here with folks talking about being on a specific ramp number. Just chatted with CS and they said my location is Hermisillo, with no ramp number. Does that mean it isn't close? Or is it sitting in a parking lot waiting for a ford badge? I am not 100% certain, but from what I've gathered, having a ramp # means the vehicle has been released from the factory and is ready to ship. Mine is listed as "Ramp 54 - Hermosillo". Ford CS stated that my truck "has been received by the carrier company." I believe Ramp 54 just generally means Hermosillo, because each plant has it's own code. For example, Wayne Assembly is Ramp 53, Louisville Truck is Ramp 18, etc.

I'm right with you though, as of tomorrow my truck will have been in "built" status for 1 month. Cringing thinking that it may be sitting in a lot baking in the sun. Hope that's not the case.

This is very interesting. I believe something similar was posted elsewhere on MTC the other day, but tons of Fords (~45,000) are sitting because they lack chips/parts. This is in Kentucky, but look closely at the video in the article. The car hauler sitting there has Bronco Sports and Mavericks on it...

I was scared too thinking the same bro, but ford CS said it is in a rail car on a ramp so at least it is covered and not baking in the sun. I told ford CS that my new truck better not be sun faded after I finally get it.

Bro Right ! mine got pushed to the 11th but ford cs says the 25th. Ford and there shipper needs to get it together. Such ass hats

Dealer just put this one up on their website as being in transit, seriously, wtf? And with a 9/21 invoice/blend date at that

I think that is the website just pulling all the allocations but I am wondering what the blend date is on the tracker window sticker ?

Got my truck 3 days ago. VIN is 82559 if that helps any. I know I was always trying to see how far along Ford was in the build process when I was waiting.

Man that is AWESUM!!! I am so glad that Ford actually got your truck to you! How are you enjoying your new ride?

Maybe there is just a small glimmer of light at the end of my tunnel. My VIN is 80359.

I hope to get a white XLT Hybrid too. The ETA is next week, but after 13 months, my faith is weak, very weak.

Yeah, for sure. Just hope it runs well without a lot of the problems others have experienced.

Sorry didn’t mean to laugh…. We got started in July and finally built early august. Been sitting “awaiting shipping” for..….. well I actually stopped counting. Luckily we ordered my kiddo an eco boost to tide us over til his hybrid decides to make an appearance. Hope you guys all have better luck. God bless
