I was not so happy with my dealer who advertised my vehicle on their WEB site as in inventory for sale. It arrived at the dealer and against my specific wishes did alterations, modifications and add-ons and told me I would have to pay thousands of dollars more than my order or they would sell it to someone else. I refused this extortion and they refused to remove their modifications sold it immediately to someone else

That stinks.
FYI, all the customer orders show up on the dealer's website.
I got an XLT hybrid in January. It was up on my dealer's website from the day they received it until I picked it up. From what I understand, the dealer does not do this. Ford does this.

New vehicles are automatically added to dealers' websites. So that really isn't anything to be upset over.
But the rest is.

Update tonight after coming home for a couple Octoberfest an some Frito pie:
Will not name my dealer because fair but not awesome. Got base XL hybrid with a few good options I wanted at MRSP and price protection. X-plan only served to ward off ADM. Could have done a lot worse, should have done a little better.
Bought a Mustang there in '08 and Fusion '13. Traded in the wife's '21 Mazda3 sedan at CarVana equivalent and net was about $1800 to the dealer. Got $50 FITS toys. 15 months from order date.
Dealer was confused and ignorant until calmly presented with facts and evidence by my wife and myself. Disappointing to have to haggle. Thankful to the Truck Club for all the info, advice, and moral support all these long months.
Really liked the drive home, 43 MPG, stop and go interstate, after dark, imagining full size trucks lingered in the right hand lane. Can't wait for daylight tomorrow.

Ordered XL Ecoboost in Oct 21, just took delivery last month…11 months from order to delivery, and I though I waited a long time, LOL. Dealer was excellent the whole time, keeping me posted on progress. Kicker? They honored original price, no BSing around. If there are any CA folks in N. Cal. Who wanna know about a fair dealer send me a message and I will tell all.
