Steel wheels are also nice for making post stands. Just lay it on it's side and weld a pipe to it, then mount whatever you want to the top. Flip it and fill with concrete for more stability. Could also take some old seats and weld their brackets to the post to make a new comfy garage chair.I was going to say NO for the rust so bad around the lug holes taking off layers off the meat of the metal there.
Then I read the quoted post and was like... I always admire a little elbow grease. I'd just assess after the wire brush step to see how much meat of the metal you lost in spots. Not worth damaging a new vehicle just to save a bit reusing some old steelies. I might chance it on my 20 Vue.
