APIM Swap Question

Hey all, these two APIM numbers are both for 2021 F150s with the 12” screen and Sync 4. Could someone tell me what the difference is because at a glance they appear to be the same thing?

Im planning to do an upgrade on my Maverick but don’t want to buy the wrong one!

The guys on Cyanlabs will answer this question. I think those last 3 have to do with firmware versions maybe. Just make sure that the screen plug is a 6 pin and not a 4 pin plug. Should have an extra power/ground pins to power the screen.

I think my biggest concern at the moment is if it’s on a much older firmware how I will go about updating it. I know they removed USB updating from Sync 3, so then I’d have to dish out quite a bit for the Mongoose method if I can’t get OTA to work somehow. I’m not sure of any other way?

He did, yes. My concern is both of these APIMs are for the 2021 Ford F-150 and its 12” screen, but have different suffixes. There’s a few different ones online, so if it’s a software related suffix I’m not sure how I’d update affordably if I can’t get OTA to work.
