When I pull the lever back to wash the windshield I can hear the pump go but not water sprays out. Things I've checked, the tank is full, the place where it attaches under the hood seems to be connected, and I don't think it is a fuse problem as I can hear the pump when I pull the lever.

Pollen season is starting here in the south so I am about to have a ton of pollen and sap on my windshield so this is important to have.

Has anyone had this problem or have any idea what might be the problem?

Take a sewing needle and try poking into the spray hole.

before you go poking around disconnect the hose where it meets the hood and try to pump

This happened to me. Turned out I had a bad batch of Rain-X brand wiper fluid (not additive) that turned ‘gummy’. Plugged up the in-tank filter. Had to take the tank off and out to clean it all out. No problems since and I no longer use Rain-X branded anything.

Is there a way to get it out without taking the fender off?

Good afternoon. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this window washer concern on my end?

Yes I had a problem a couple months ago and found the plastic hose melted and the washer fluid was squirting out under the hood. I cut out the melted section patched it.

Just for future knowledge for anyone who runs into this problem, I googled the problem with just generic info leaving out the Maverick part and saw where someone suggested getting a can of air and blowing out the line.

I disconnected the hose at the point where it connects from the fender to the hood, shoved the straw apart as far as it would go into the line. Opened the reservoir lid and blew air into the line until the washer fluid was coming out of the tank. Put it all back together and tested the washer and it's working as it should. Problem solved for now. I'll probably run the hose into the tank until it is thoroughly flushed out just to be sure.

What fluid do you use now?

How many parts were needed to get at the tank?

Is there potential to blast water through the hole on top of reservoir in hope that the junk will come out, therefore preventing removal of tank?

Try my solution directly above your post, it is a much easier solution, if that does not work then try pulling the tank.
