I have seen this brought up many times and I wonder why folks always assume their manual filling the tank and calculating is more accurate than the computer calculating fuel flow. Just curious .

I am curious why folks mount their phones. I put mine on the cradle on the console and it connects with a wireless dongle and everything is on the trucks screen. What is the advantage of mounting the phone?

No, 4x4 stands for 4 wheels and 4 driving wheels as opposed to 4x2 which is 4 wheels but 2 driven. You might be thinking of the 442 Oldsmobile. 4 barrel, 4 speed, dual exhaust.
On number 1. My 23 XLT shows the trip MPG, miles on gas and miles on electric when the key is turned off. The 25 does not do this?
I agree with 7. The seat belt light goes out eventually but takes too long. Why not as soon as the belts are fastened like every other car?
I have a Cadillac Escalade EXT with a mid gate and it is the best idea ever. I do wish it had the 60/40 split like the EV though. Why they call this a Silverado EV instead of an Avalanche is beyond me but it is just another example todays stupid naming.
Just because you paid for it now does not mean you signed anything accepting delivery yet I assume. It’s condition is not your responsibility until you inspect it and sign acceptance.
I find it interesting on many of these threads that some say the ride is quiet and others say it isn’t. I find mine to be quiet but I did have it undercoated. I drive a wide range of cars and trucks including Jaguars and a Cadillac Escalade truck and am happy with the ride and quietness of my...
I have a mid gate on my Escalade EXT and it great. The bottom folds down and the window removes. I have folded the gate down many times but never needed to remove the window. With the gate down the bed is over eight feet with the tailgate up.
I have to believe you live where it is pretty flat. We have hills here and they really lower mileage. I have seen the high mileage you have occasionally when I do all flat driving but it is rare for me to go anywhere and not encounter a hill. My normal mileage is mid 40’s.
Yes I had a problem a couple months ago and found the plastic hose melted and the washer fluid was squirting out under the hood. I cut out the melted section patched it.
