Smart! My initial build was cheaper then the window sticker by $600CAD. Good thing I have a copy of what I signed so they can't jack up the price to the window sticker. So mine will be under the window stickers MSRP.
When did you get this?

My understanding is it has to do with dealer allocation and that this dealer was allocated additional build spots because of volume they move. Buy who knows.I did not shop far and wide for my Maverick. MSRP (locked to date of order) is what I paid at an Edmonton dealership. No fees. Ordered in January. Oddly enough it sounds pretty much like what was ordered here (Lariat, Lux, 4k, FX4). Interesting that you were able to get a VIN and build date so quickly. Another shining example of Ford's wonky system.
Can confirm three weeks ago Langley went under msrp with no doc fee. All other lower mainland dealerships quoted MSRP plus a doc fee around $500. Kelowna beat Langleys offer by a bit. I didn't have a single dealership quote over MSRP in BC.I emailed a few around langley/Surrey, BC area, got one agreed to do MSRP with no other fees. all other want 500+ doc fee. But that was last July. Right now I doubt the dealer I purchased from would do that deal cause they would add $5k markup for any stock mavericks.
Really? man I contacted all langley dealer back in July. None would want to scrap the doc fee. Anyway, I made the order predicting the price would go up, quick. And I was right. I priced the same thing on Ford.ca the other day, now it is $1360 more than it was back last July. Can confirm three weeks ago Langley went under msrp with no doc fee. I have no information yet. No VIN, no dates. After reading these posts, I have emailed my dealer to ask if there is any update. Curious to see what they say.My understanding is it has to do with dealer allocation and that this dealer was allocated additional build spots because of volume they move. Buy who knows.
Sounds like we will ultimately have the same truck. Do you have a build date from the January order?
Ya really. I think alot can change with that amount of time in between and we probably spoke to different sales people at different stages of their experience/month end/motivation/knowledge etc.Really? man I contacted all langley dealer back in July. Only regret I should have ordered XLT than base XL.
Hopefully the dealer has some good news for you, let us know what they come back with.I have no information yet. No VIN, no dates. After reading these posts, I have emailed my dealer to ask if there is any update. Curious to see what they say.
Some Dealers here in Edmonton are minimum $2500 over MSRP. They will not even sell you an in stock Maverick with out a trade in or honor X plan. It's like the wild west out here. Amvic needs to start enforcing the all in pricing and stop the other shady tactics that are going on with consumers.Yes I was able to get it 600 under MSRP with 750 referral going to my friend, which we are splitting.
Total of 975 isn't bad - however, the dealer fees were 499 or something if I recall, so it's all a wash haha.
My second mav is 200 discount with 399 dealer fee.
That’s not what all in pricing means. It means: the dealer must advertise the price, including fees, freight, PDI, everything except GST.Some Dealers here in Edmonton are minimum $2500 over MSRP.
