probably just for the 2 tie down strap clips like the BakFlip also requires. It mentioned "Minor Drilling Required to Attach Fittings". Don't know how much drilling it referres to.
It's ok. It's secure and that's what I needed. If you notice they don't actually show a lot of details.Kikito Professional FRP Hard Tri-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover for 2022-2023 Maverick 4.6ft (54.4in) Bed
Yep, similar to the one I bought on Amazon but I did not have to drill any holes.Looks identical to the one I got on amazon.

The front section does not hinge up. You can fold the middle and rear sections up but the front will always be covered. It's not hard to install or remove though.
The strap to hold it open clips into a thing that is positioned in such a way that it prevents you from mounting the cover flush with the back of the cab. As a result, the rear corners stick out too far and the front edge doesn't seal as well as it could. If you spend some time sealing it with weather stripping you could seal it better; I don't care enough to bother.
The clips that hold it in place are a little chintzy but they work ok.
Overall it's pretty good considering it's half the cost of most hard trifolds.
I actually liked my gator sfx better but since it's soft and not as secure I am selling it. It was lighter and looked better IMO.
If its like mine it refers to the clips that retain the front section. They are supposed to slip over some threaded screw thingies and get tightened by thumbscrews. For some reason, they threaded them so they can't actually be installed as is- you have to drill out the threads so it will slide on instead of thread on. the thumbscrews screw on behind them allowing you to tighten it against the bed rails. Not hard to fix but somebody in china f-ed up.It mentioned "Minor Drilling Required to Attach Fittings". Don't know how much drilling it referres to.
This tonneau cover looks exactly the same that the on I bougth on Amazom
The bed sides are not sealed like a traditional truck, so it might not be the cover that's letting dust in. I certainly get quite a bit when I'm on dirt roads, even with a cover and tailgate seals.Looks like the one I got. No drilling on mine. One man installation. Leaks a bit in a drive thru car wash. Leaks dust on country roads. I would buy it again.
Yes. That curved area at the front is a challenge. If you're worried about something getting wet, put it in a garbage back or throw it in the back seat. The bed sides are not sealed like a traditional truck, so it might not be the cover that's letting dust in.
