Anyone can recommend a dealer in GTA

I've asked several Ford dealers in Great Toronto Area. But got different responses.
First is the timeline. Some said it will take two to four months, some said needs 6 months, and some said it may not get the Maverick until the end of 2022.
About the price, some said the price will not be protected even I place an order now.
Also for the deposit, it varies depending on different dealers. It could be $500, also could be $3000.

I don't know which dealer I should trust. Can anybody shares your dealer if you have placed a Maverick order already?

So I am from the Waterloo Region and I ended up ordering mine from Bayfield Ford and Lincoln in Barrie. I ordered a XLT with a lux and tow package. They were great with me. Initially they said my deposit would be $1000 but then they said don't worry about it(Might have changed). I order the end of November and my truck arrived end of January, so I was pretty lucky only thing that changed on my order was the spray in bed liner changed to a drop in. Also the people there are great and they have a ton of good reviews, plus they said they have a good reputation with Ford so they sometimes get vehicles faster.

I know it's a little outside of Toronto but just thought I would share.

Also, they have a referral program, so might be able to get an extra $250 off if you tell them I sent you lolol

Actually I communicated with Barrie in January or so. I found some maverick in stock from their website. But all was sold out when the staff reached out to me.

Tony Pellici, that's very nearby my location. But I contacted that Mcalpine Ford yesterday, they told me the price is not fixed and also not sure about the timeline. It may be the end of 2022 for model of 2023.

Out of curiosity, are the dealers you are speaking to suggesting that you can order and receive a '22 Maverick? My understanding is even some existing orders may not be built as 22's, and the '23 orders don't begin until August. Not sure how they would be able to provide any kind of time frame for delivery.

Fraser Ford in Oshawa, ordered 09/09/21, shows in production now. They placed the order in the system the day I put down $1000 deposit.

So what should I do? I cannot put the deposit without knowing the price and the timeframe.

It doesn’t really matter where you order now. All Canadian orders will be taken but won’t be put in the system until Aug 16th. So any orders now will be for the 2023 model starting production October 26th unless Ford changes the dates.
