Nice sounds like you got in right under the wire then haha. I have a feeling that we might be the unlucky souls that aren’t receiving updates from ford. We know our dealer doesn’t have much of a problem getting mavericks though, we were able to test drive back in November and sense then have seen quite a few come and go from the lot.
Never got to test drive one. My dealer is a pretty big one out here. But still have only seen one at their location. They bought it from an owner ..
Keeping my 🤞.

Ordered an AWD XLT Lux FX4 CoPilot 360 in Cactus from a local dealer on 6 Jan and then saw Granger's offer and ordered an AWD XLT in Cactus from them 10 days later. If the FordVideoGuy is right about the ROVP being required then I won't see the one from my local dealer.

What lol i’m surprised with lux package. I thought that was supposed to be a feature causing delays. Sometimes it feels like they just do a weekly raffle for the next production cycle haha
I suspect that applies more to the Lariat Lux package, I think the electric brake booster and some of the other parts for the adaptive cruise control that is included with Lariat Lux are constrained items.

If you get a COVP, does that mean anything? I received a COVP in the beginning of February even though I ordered on January 25th.

I went to the Ford website on 1/25 and did "Build My Maverick". I chose hybrid not knowing it had been cut off. Then I emailed the dealer and told them I used "Build My Maverick" and she asked for the link. I sent it and within 5 minutes she emailed back and said that hybrids were closed (I had no idea about end dates). So I redid it with Ecoboost XLT. Added full size spare, tray bed liner and swing tool box on driver's side. No other options. She said I was "all set, but you need to come by here and sign the paperwork by 1/27". Again, not knowing cut off dates for orders I figured it was a scam just to get me in there to sign. Went on the afternoon of 1/25 (around the same time I found this forum) and by then I had read the cut off date for orders was 1/27. She got a copy of my DL, explained the sales code and order code to me. While she was going over this I got the email on my phone that the order was received so that part was fast. She showed me her email and said something like "your email will look like these and then you will get 3 more". It looked like there were quite a few orders in before mine from what i could tell. I have no idea on their allocations.

Was actually a pretty easy process but now I wait for the next email. I have called the Ford hotline a couple of times to check in and they have just said they have the order but no build date yet. I haven't called this week but will again after Thursday if I don't get an email. I believe it is going to take some time and that's ok. I'll just keep driving my 2000 Ranger until it gets here. Plus, more time to save up money. She did say it would probably take 6 to 8 months and I am fine with that as well.

Edit: I offered to put down a deposit but she said I didn't need to so I didn't.

Not a Jan order but ordered 12/26. Got email the same day from Ford. Lariat Lux awd 4k tow cp360 Called Ford confirmed they got my order. Dealer called me Feb 10 asking if I wanted to remove the lux package and cp360. Just hope it gets built this year. To those that ordered in Jan and got a build date fantastic!

Keeping my 🤞.
Yeah we were lucky to test drive it and we almost bought it that day probably should have too checked all the boxes besides the color haha. We have a very small dealer but they must’ve hoped on the ordering train very early almost all of the Mavs that have passed through the lot were dealer orders. Ours is also only one of like three dealers between where we are and Denver so we get people from Aspen and Vail and all the ski towns coming in to buy cars. So far I think maybe two of them actually stayed local the rest are all probobaly some where else.

Would love to here from anybody that ordered in January 2022 just curious who else is late to game like us. Ordered ours on Jan 7ish. XLT AWD FX4 360 Velocity Blue. We ordered fully well knowing we are in for a long wait but hey more time to save money right!? Dealer told us it would take about three months to take delivery to which we said fingers crossed but I doubt it. Really just hoping our dealer was able to get the order in since we haven’t received much of any info past the receipt from the order and the build form that we filled out when ordering, no emails or anything. Don’t mind the wait if they didn’t get it in before Ford put put the pause on orders but they least they could do is tell us so I can decide to either suck it up and buy a beater car for back and forth or deal with putting a ton of miles on my BMW.
I ordered the exact same truck but with 4k tow as well on Jan. 14th after my Nissan got totaled. I am driving a beater with a heater until it comes in. I am not counting on it until august or later.

I’ve wanted one since they initially began advertising and taking orders. I told myself I can wait until after the first model year and I actually get to see one in person and test drive it. Then I heard about how popular they’ve become and how orders were closing. So I went and ordered mine on 1/26/22. (Details in signature)

I feel bad for everyone who ordered months ago and still have no build date but at least at this point I know what I’m in for. Now I just have to figure out at what point I sell my current daily driver and hope I get my Maverick before winter of 2023 here in Ohio.

I ordered an xl in velocity bue, moon roof, 4k tow, and the 110v outlet on jan 14th.. got the confirmation email right after the dealer clicked the submit button on my order. He said it would take 3-5 months for to be produced and delivered so were buckling down.
From different sources I'm hearing the 4k is just as constrained chip wise as the hybrids which doesn't make me feel all that great. But I won't negotiate on towing because if I'm driving a truck I better have some hauling capability.
I wished I would have known just how bad the waits were for these before i ordered. My car got totalled by a hit and run driver so were down to sharing 1 vehicle at this house and it's getting old fast but that down payment is going to be very nice!

PS. If anyone knows of anywhere in Las Vegas to get a $1,000 junker to get me by until this truck is delivered I'll take all the information I can get.

I think dealer allocation plays a bigger part. I also ordered in January with CP360, 4k tow and spray in bedliner all of which supposedly are very seriously constrained yet I received my VIN and production date 2 weeks after ordering. I would contact your dealer to find out how many of their orders are going to production each month and how many orders they have waiting before you.
