The 4k tow package also allow you to tow 4k (4000lbs) as opposed to 2000lbs. Just adding a hitch would not change the tow capacity.

Probably because you always have backup lights showering your backup area with light when the camera is engaged. I feel like night vision on the camera would make the whole thing too bright and washed out. I know it does on my home security cameras if I turn on the night vision when it is...

Update. After being pushed back to 11/14. I got worried. However they turned on my modules on 11/15 and the truck shipped today 11/21. I am sooooo excited. I will be one of the few and the proud velocity blue maverick owners on the planet.

I understand the issue and Ford's proposed remedy. I was just asking if there was any mention of the Maverick specifically. Because the only specific vehicle Ford has mentioned getting the after sale chip installs is the Explorer.

Mine was a drunk driver on December 29th. Drove up the side of my Nissan Frontier as it was parked in front of my house, then rolled their Cherokee on its side as it got up to the top of my driver's door.

I ordered the exact same truck but with 4k tow as well on Jan. 14th after my Nissan got totaled. I am driving a beater with a heater until it comes in. I am not counting on it until august or later.
