Any news from the "hospital"? Mine has the odor as well. I am sure there is mold and mildew in the evap, but I don't want to take it in and have someone else do it if I can clean it myself.
I ordered a Ford Maverick last January when someone totaled my parked truck. I needed a vehicle right away but I decided to wait for the "right" vehicle at the right price. So I bought beater with a heater minivan for $3000 and proceeded to wait 12 months until my truck was finally delivered...
I use my cubby up top to house my tree air freshener. No one has asked me what is for, I guess since it is being used. I like the idea of a camera mount up there though. Seems like you could just attach a ram mount in the existing tray rather than come up with a whole new piece though.
Got my '22 Velocity Blue FX4 XLT Lux EB2.0 just 2 days before my year anniversary. I did the obligatory tailgate lettering (love the red outlined black on the blue truck). I also installed Lasfit switchbacks up front and Motorola MA1 android auto wireless adapter. I currently have a tray...
Probably because you always have backup lights showering your backup area with light when the camera is engaged. I feel like night vision on the camera would make the whole thing too bright and washed out. I know it does on my home security cameras if I turn on the night vision when it is...
Update. After being pushed back to 11/14. I got worried. However they turned on my modules on 11/15 and the truck shipped today 11/21. I am sooooo excited. I will be one of the few and the proud velocity blue maverick owners on the planet.
I got the email a while back that said I would be receiving a private offer for my rollover. Then comes today's announcement that the order banks are opening up. So I called Ford to find out if and when a private offer would be coming, I would need that to decide how to configure the my23...
I ordered mine in January after my second Nissan Frontier had been totaled by a drunk driver in front of my house. (both trucks suffered the same fate). I almost bought a third Frontier, But pricing and availability of the models I wanted held me back. Also both trucks got about 15mpg average...
I noticed that your backup lighting has a blue tint. I was just curious if blue lights are legal where you are. Most places they are not legal unless you are a volunteer fire / emergency worker.
I felt Iowa was a little under-represented even thought the fabled Granger Ford is in our lovely state. I am in Burlington myself and ordered from a local dealer.
Except we do need china for the rare earth metals that are not present in US soil. That is why most of the chips in the world are produced there. They have the raw materials that we do not. Plus, our workers want to make more than $1.00 an hour, so we would be paying 10 times more for labor...
I understand the issue and Ford's proposed remedy. I was just asking if there was any mention of the Maverick specifically. Because the only specific vehicle Ford has mentioned getting the after sale chip installs is the Explorer.
The article is locked behind a Paywall. So please forgive me if the info is in there. But, does it actually reference Mavericks? The only specific model I have seen mentioned in an article about leaving out chips was the Exploder.
Mine was a drunk driver on December 29th. Drove up the side of my Nissan Frontier as it was parked in front of my house, then rolled their Cherokee on its side as it got up to the top of my driver's door.
I ordered the exact same truck but with 4k tow as well on Jan. 14th after my Nissan got totaled. I am driving a beater with a heater until it comes in. I am not counting on it until august or later.
