We ordered our Hybrid XLT on Oct 21. Dropped the Lux Package back on March 02. Hope it speeds things up. Doing heated seats, bedliner spray-in aftermarket. Will also be ordering steelies & winter tires down the road to do my own tire changing in my garage when needed.

My hybrid Lariat Lux is supposedly hung up in Portland. Last official word from Ford was that it would be delivered to Frontier Ford in Anacortes between 17 and 23 April. I've only seen one other hybrid (Area 51 XLT) here in Oak Harbor. Ordered my truck last August.

Mine is scheduled for delivery between June 30 to July 6. I hope it doesn't get stuck in Portland.

Has anyone had ANY luck talking with the folks at the "Maverick Team" at 1-800-334-4375? I'm hearing conflicting stories about delivery dates and my dealership claims to know less than I do. No explanation other than my truck has been sitting in Portland, OR for two months and they don't know why. Is there another Ford customer service number or contact I might try?

I found another thread by someone whose truck also went missing in Portland:

Ordered my Maverick in Aug of 2021. Went to production late Feb. With a couple of push backs on the timeline ( to be expected) . Early March I get an email stating my truck is done and should be to me within 3 weeks.

Well it's now June and Still no truck!!!

My dealer (Canby Ford-ugh) knows nothing. They never return my calls. After 2 months of playing the game with my dealer and Ford, I finally am told that while my vehicle sat at the port for a month waiting to be delivered to the dealer the catalytic converter was stolen (Portland is a cesspool garbage city!) And now the truck will need to be repaired, but I should have it the next week. Well here we are a month after they were supposed to make the repair and now no one can seem to locate my truck. This monday the ford portal showed my truck as delivered, so I call my dealer on Tuesday and they have no clue where my car could be and tell me to call Ford. I call Ford and they say it left the port and is on its way to the dealership and should be there in a few days (20 mins from port to dealership) I wait until Friday and try my dealer again. (They like to never be available and refuse to return calls.) After blocking my number I get through and am told they have no idea where my truck is I should call Ford. I call Ford back AGAIN and this time I'm told they have no clue and I need to call the dealership or wait a few weeks and it might show up. At this point Ford can kiss my a$$. Most backwards bullsh*t customer service I have ever encountered. Has this happened to anyone else?? Where they just loose your truck and have no idea whatsoever where it could be? Was it a happy resolution? Should I plan on new car shopping this weekend ???

Mine is close. I'm trying to understand UP's descriptive ways, which as of this morning UP said "empty, released for movement June 12 10:43am. Estimate time of arrival industry June 17 8pm. Barnes yard origin".

OM Gosh. I got a call this morning from the dealership and my truck is already there. It took 14 days from build and ship notification to delivery. That's pretty crazy. I'll be picking it up in a few days.

Warning this is very long

Story time: 9/8/2021 Rob and I walk into our local Ford dealership to order our Hybrid Maverick. We nail down what trim we want( XLT ) color, and all the extras we want to add ( moonroof, console vault, and co-pilot 360). Give them our driver’s licenses, sign our order sheet, so we are price protected, blah blah blah. Great! Right?

Wrong!

A week later we decide to drop down to the xl. We go in and change our order. Which is fine since we haven’t been assigned a VIN yet.

Fast forward to April first when we find out we have a VIN! We get all excited and go to the Ford tracking page to look and see if we have a production date yet! On the very top of the page in huge letters is says CONGRATULATIONS ON ORDERING YOUR FORD MAVERICK XLT!! I just looked at Rob and said this is not even a joke! We have been waiting 8 months and they are building us the wrong truck. Long story short I called the dealer, dealer is eating a lot of money and we are getting the better truck.

Fast forward even more! Truck is built and then truck is shipped! Estimated delivery is May 21! Well that week comes and goes as does the next. Mind you we are waiting to take this truck and drive it from Washington to Iowa to visit my family for 3 weeks.

So June rolls around and we stroll into the dealership looking for some answers. We are told it is scheduled for delivery June 6th! “We can’t wait to get you in your truck!” June 6th comes and goes. ( during this time I am reading all about catalytic converters thefts on the Maverick forum I am on) June 20th I call again. This time I’m not so nice. I get the same “we don’t know what is going on. We thought for sure it would be here by now.”

Fast forward to Saturday June 25th. The sales manager emails me and says they haven’t heard from us in a while. I email back explaining what we have been going through with our sales man. He says “let me look into what’s going on and I will get back to you!” I s*!& you not, 5 minutes later Rob’s cell phone is ringing and we hear these exact words… “I am so sorry, I have some really bad news that have to share with you. On May 21st there was a mass theft of 80 catalytic converters stolen off of all the 2022 Ford Mavericks that were in the train yard in Portland waiting to be hauled to the dealers. Unfortunately your’s was 1 of those 80. Now don’t worry, we are going to replace the catalytic converter. BUUUTTT here’s the problem. With all the supply issues right now, the catalytic converters are all on back order and we don’t have an ETA on when they might have them available to fix all these trucks.

This might explain the delays in my delivery to Anacortes Frontier Ford. I think it might be time for plan "B"

I posted on June 8th that my XLT is built and should arrive sometime between July 7th and July 13. I know this will upset a few and not sure why it happened but June 24th got a call my hybred was at the dealership. I ran down looked at it took some pictures and said I'll be back on the 28th to close the order. June 28th wife and I showed up closed the deal for exact msrp I signed for in August 2021 and couldn't be happier. I really feel for everyone that have been waiting and really hope your deal ends a well as mine. I don't know if dealership approves of me posting their name so all I will say was it is the Ford dealer in Olympia, Wa. Great people and true to their word.
