I sent an email to Mattel asking when they might have a Hot Wheels Maverick Pickup and got this answer:

I check ever few weeks. There's nothing; no scale models, no hot wheels, not even a cheap RC truck. Nothing. Gonna have to carve my own Maverick model out of wood, I guess.

these are actually mini Rangers i found at my local Rural King but they could pass for a Maverick almost.

I put an order in for a Hotwheels Mav. They said it’ll take about 15 months until it gets in. I ordered the BAP and a tonneau cover, so hopefully it doesn’t take longer. I already purchased the Hotwheels carrying case for the Mav so hopefully I didn’t waste the investment. ​
