Anti Skid coating or mat for plastic bed tray liner?

I bought the ford bed tray liner. Basically a 200 dollar piece of plastic. Any cheap ideas to get a good anti skid coating on it? Should have just bought the mat to begin with. How would a mat fit over the plastic?

I've always used a rubber mat in my trucks and prefer it over plastic bc it's easy to just pull out the rubber mat and clean under it, or temporarily remove it if necessary.

What's the verdict here? Sounds like rubber bed mat beats the tray? I have a naked white bed and nothing ordered yet. I'm thinking tailgate liner and bed mat. How did the tray work out?

I was originally looking at the Ford DIBL, but I've changed my mind and I think I will go with the Bed Rug.
