The main photo shows an F-150 and the third one shows Transits, so these there may be from the Kansas City Assembly Plant (KCAP) and not Hermosillo. Hopefully that's the case and no Mavericks were lost.

Transits (including E-Transit, but there may not have been any on that train) and F-150s are built together at Claycomo Assembly in KCMO. Presumably, the F-150s were from there and not Dearborn.

AP notes that the train derailment was ~33 miles west of Flagstaff. If it were bound for Phoenix, it would've gone down the mountains south from Flagstaff, out through Wickenburg and then along US-60 into town. Instead, that line continues out to LA and San Diego, or north through California to San Francisco/Sacramento and up the west coast to Portland, Seattle, etc.

It probably took one of the many ways out of the KC metro area down through Wichita and Amarillo then roughly followed I-40 through ABQ and Flagstaff to the point of derailment. Unless it took a less efficient route.
