Another delay

I recieved a production notice with a vin #. Tracking indicates production started on my Maverick on 8/10. Now i have received an email from Ford indicating a delay in production and they will provide updates on status every 45 DAYS!
Doesnt sound very promising. My order was placed in August of 2021. Has anyone else recieved a notice like this ?

Possibly due to airbag recall. I image they are having a supply issue with that component and can’t release the vehicle for sell without that correct part. I’m sure having to acquire an additional 65k units is going to strain production.

That’s just an educated guess.

I think some people got the email even though their trucks were in production. Perhaps you should disregard it and wait for an update on built/shipped? We don't have any concrete info that they're holding up orders due to the airbag thing. My guess is that issue was fixed on the line in July.

Yeah, got the same email even though mine was built a week ago. You can probably disregard it.
