Another 2 month delay in delivery. What the actual eff?

I originally thought my car was going to be built on 12/20. Around the time that it actually was produced (12/10) @fordvideoguy had one of his Tuesday videos which mentioned a bad batch of chips. At the time I thought I was fortunate to have missed that fiasco because I wasn’t scheduled for another 10 days. But in fact, I think I got a direct hit. So that information would have been in one of those two Tuesday videos. I’d say 12/7 or 12/14.

As for me, I'm not going to go back and watch 2-3 hours of video on the chance that they might be the right ones. I'm not that energetic.

Dude I'm sorry, I ordered ny July,29th got delivered on January 14th. I think its the overwhelming of hybrids trucks that they sold out completely in November. And they are in process of making more hybrids. There fore your hybrid still needs to be built before completing the build.

I am besides myself fed up with this. The vehicle ordered on 6/26, was built on 12/10, and yet it will sit for at least 4 months. I need an explanation. @fordvideoguy

I ordered the XLT on 6/17/21, supposedly it was in production on 10/28/21, was built on 12/22/21 & shipped on 12/24/21. The delivery date has changed several times & it was supposed to be here yesterday. I've heard nothing from Astoria Ford, but if I'm told it won't be here until May I'm going to tell them to kiss off. I haven't signed a contract & refuse to play their delay game.

My order date was 6/10/2021.

Makes me not want to buy a Ford again. W. T. F.

There are actually some positives: I didn't want to drive a brand new vehicle in salted ice/snow/slush; and I've read some concerns on this forum about the paint curing out completely... Two months in the desert should have the paint thoroughly cured.
