I'm not going to be tossing any engine blocks or corrosive chemicals into my Mav's bed.
I'm looking for a cheap bed mat alternative that doesn't weigh too much.
My guess is that these will stay planted even in an open bed, due to their being riddled with holes.
Has anyone tried using these mats? Any thoughts - good or bad?
Thanks,
Finnster

You can buy the same thing at Home Depot for half the price and save your delivery driver from ruining their back.

Thanks DU,
I will check that out!
I'm guessing that Amazon driver would continue putting food on his table even if I ordered a
"Six-foot-tall Cannon Safe CO54 Commander Series Premium 90 Minute Fire Safe".

I don't see any problem with these, and they have the added benefit of raising the objects you have a little and water will drain through .

The North Easterner tradition, is to use a sheet of underlayment plywood, and get a new one every 10 years when it gets too nasty.

I am somewhat leaning towards testing out dollar store anti-fatigue mats, might have to tape 2 or 3 together though.

I am considering doing this solution to avoid trapping moisture under a solid mat thereby discouraging mold, mildew, and/or rust. What is the experience of those who have solid mats?

Thanks guys,
I'm avoiding the conventional full-coverage bed mats to save some money and save some weight as well. I'm not sure what I will haul in the Mav's bed besides possibly groceries, I have an old Chevy K1500 for that.

Plywood was to go-to solution in the Northern Midwest years ago too, before the price of 1/2" plywood went crazy!

I hadn't thought of the dollars store. 🤔

Did you use your points? I bought the ford one that says Maverick on it and it is excellent quality and it fits perfect.
Cutouts for tie downs too. $139, 20% off right now, so it would be less than that.

I bought a set from Amazon that came with floor mats. They were so awful I sent them back. Plasticky crap. I do not recommend Powog brand.

This was $12CAD at the Giant Tiger, so I grabbed it, will try it in the bed for a while, or toss it down in front of the washer/dryer.

Ford Maverick Amazon Light-weight Bed Mat possibility? mat

Might be a few inches short, not sure if it will be worth tagging on the bits I cut out for wheel wells to add a couple of inches, so it's a bit less short. IDK..

Having added that $12 to the $2 I spent for an organiser, $3 I spent for a "maybe the right color" blanket for cutting up for interior stuff, and the $2 I paid for the tail hitch brake light some years ago, I'm at nearly $20 now. No Maverick yet, but since this sunk cost is now a highly significant value, I guess I better hurry up and spend that few tens of thousands.
