ALTO BLUE Maverick Photos Thread

I put a set of black reflective vinyl letters on the tailgate and it really couldn't have been easier. If anything, I might have used a little too much dishwashing soap in the water, but after three days the letters are still on the truck so I'm not sure that's even possible. The letters were totally black when I pulled them out of the envelope but look silver/gray on the truck in daylight. In the late afternoon, they look almost gold and are super reflective bright white at night when light shines on them. All in all, I think it was $30 well spent.

It’s because of pics like this I changed my order from Area 51 to Alto Blue. Just love the color!!

I just finished installing a BAKFLIP MX4 tonneau cover and I think it's going to work out pretty well. There was a learning curve but I could install the next one in less than an hour. The important part is to get everything straight, level and square. Not too hard if you follow the instructions. It looks like it should be about 99% waterproof but I won't know for sure until I take it out in the rain.

Ordered a 23 Alto ECO AWD XLT in September. 22 not 21! Lux package, slider, full spare, EB heater. Wanted the FX4 wheels but not the FX4 package. Will look for a set later. Always liked the dark blue on anything. Probably a hard tonneau for snow loads.

I wanted my parents to get a Maverick in Velocity Blue since my mom's current car is getting too old. Since Velocity Blue was only available for the 2022 Model Year, I decided to go with Alto Blue for when my parents finally get rid of our 2016 Honda Pilot, since that is my favorite color for the 2023 model year. BUT when Velocity Blue comes back for 2024 or 2025, I may as well get one in VB, but I will have to see when Velocity Blue comes back.

Yeah, actually there is an update. A few days ago I drove 20 minutes in the rain to where I wanted to start my morning walk, walked for about 2.5 hours, and drove home again, all in the rain. I then wiped all the standing water off of the BacFlip so none of that would drip into the bed, and folded the cover back to see how much water had gotten by the seals. I'm happy to report there was really very little. just a few drops on top of each wheel well. I think anything in the bed would have safe and dry. If I were taking an extended car trip during monsoon season I'd put my luggage in big black plastic bags just to be safe, but overall, I'm pretty impressed with the cover.

Wow that sounds pretty good. Glad to hear that it's working out well for you. Also good for you for going on a 2.5 hour walk - that's mighty impressive.
