Less then a year old. MAV 2024. Today my vehicle was unresponsive in the morning. Again.
Last week I visited Ford Dealership for the first oil change. Told them about my battery going in to sleep mode. They tested and told me that everything is normal. Well today, again I had to boost my vehicle just to get out of my driveway. What a night mare.

Make them REPLACE the battery - I did and I have No Issues since.

... Well today, again I had to boost my vehicle just to get out of my driveway. What a night mare.
Nightmare?? An inconvenience for sure...but a nightmare?

SSM 53801 2022-2025 Maverick - Hybrid - 12V Battery Drain - Built On Or Before 17-Feb-2025
Some 2022-2025 Maverick vehicles with a hybrid powertrain and built on or before 17-Feb-2025 may exhibit a 12V battery drain. This may be due to the software installed in the air conditioning control module (ACCM). To correct this condition, perform a battery condition test as outlined in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables > Diagnosis and Testing > Pinpoint Test A. Service the battery as necessary. Connect a battery charger such as Rotunda GRX-3590 or DCA-8000 to the 12-volt battery. Download and run the "air conditioning control module (ACCM) software update" application in the Ford Diagnosis And Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If the battery was replaced, download and run the "BCM-reset the battery monitoring sensor learned values" application in FDRS. For claiming, use causal part 19703 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Ya sounds like the typical ford dealer. Walk out and test quick. Never load test or test after siting overnight. I’ve had that happen on a f-150. Finally replaced it myself to have the problem vanish forever. Few conversations and had the battery reimbursed.

Less than 2000 miles on my 2024 Hybrid, it has gone into deep sleep mode twice, a short drive removed the deep sleep messages. Should I take it in to Ford now or wait till it gets worse?

Update - I called my local Ford dealer service department and they said if it is simply going into deep sleep mode, then it is protecting the battery from draining and I don’t need to bring it in. So the answer is I will need to wait till it gets worse…
I have had my battery replaced 3 times under warranty, due to sulfation and my new battery is already less than 50% SOC - they should do the SSM if you are having deep sleep issues, they get paid to do the SSM, they just may be overwhelmed with warranty work, like my shop is... :cry::cry:

Book an appointment. Until you do, who knows when it will rear its ugly head again.

Only 2000 miles in how many months. It usually takes several months for problem to manifest. Not driven enough long and long enough at a time will bring this problem sooner, but it will most likely happen eventually because the Ford programing does not allow the battery to charge fully soon enough. It is not normal if you had to jump start the truck, that is what deep sleep is supposed to prevent having to do.
