Car almost 12 months old, doing just under 10K per year. Could do more if I 'had to' ;)
Probably will keep the Maverick for a long time.

Full Synthetic or Blend?

Any other ideas?

I've got more time to think about the extended warranty plans.

You can get an extended warranty from Granger for $50 over their cost. Use what the manual says for your vehicle oil. The oil life monitor will tell you when to change it, based on how you drive, etc. Exception might be the break-in oil, which you should have already changed out.

Hybrid takes full synthetic 0w20 oil. Not sure about the EcoBoost.

Extended warranties typically go up in price after 12 months. So you might want to consider getting one now. Or at least checking on prices, if you think they are worth it to you.

Walmart sells Mobil 1 full syn for about the best price in a 5 qt jug plus buy a solo quart so you can reach the 5.2 or 5.5 qt fill, depending on whether you use the Motorcraft 400S or 910S [larger] filter.

I don't trust a dealer to use full-synthetic. Some use a syn blend and offer full syn for an upcharge. Who knows what they actually put in?
