Looking for advice.

I am looking to run a 16 AWG pair of electrical wire under the truck that goes from the tailgate to the battery (preferably along the drivers side). I know that it will be run underneath, but I am wanting to see what would be best for ease of future maintenance, keeping it away from sensitive or hazardous areas, keeping it protected, etc. I haven't had a chance to look under the protective covers yet and maybe it will be straightforward when I do, Id just like to get some ideas before I go digging into it. I have a 30ft cable, so I have plenty of length for routing.

Does anyone have a recommended path or experience with this?

I have an FX4.

Thanks!

The body/frame has lots of hollow tubes and holes. It's pretty easy.
