I have an XL Hybrid on order. While I wait I am passing the time by planning modifications.

I would like to add heated seats. While doing this I thought it would be a good time to add the power lumbar support. Thank you to the people who posted how they have done these projects.

I understand that the #3 and #6 in cabin fuse's have power when the key is on. This is where I plan to pull power from. My question is can I use a double fuse tap in just one of these fuses to draw power ? One added fuse for the heated seats and the other for the power lumbar support.

This is the fuse tap I was thinking of using.

I've used a similar fuse tap for the remote power-on signal wire for my amplifier. I am not certain what amp rating fuse it takes but I'm using a 10A right now; it probably would run on 2.5A. I see the link you provided is a 5A add-on.

Fuse 3 and 6 are each 10A. Do you know how much current is required for the things you're wanting to add? A seat heater in particular. I haven't researched it but think 5A might not be sufficient.

BTW your link doesn't seem like the best deal. I bought this which is cheaper and I had no issues or concerns with the quality. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081SS7ZLF

I do this to run two dash cams and it works well.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure how much current the heated seats or lumbar support draw.
The one I posted comes with 5A fuses but says it will take up to 20A.
