You might be getting the Lane Centering and Lane Keeping System confused. Lane Centering is activated with the Adaptive Cruise Control. Lane Keeping System can be activated with the button without using Cruise Control.I use adaptive cruise control a lot. Today, the lane centering icon came on when I turned on the cruise control. Thought that was weird and attempted to turn it off via the button on the turn signal. No luck. And no where in the manual do they address this. When not in cruise, I can turn the lane centering off and on via the button on the turn signal. But not when the cruise is turned on. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Or is it a system glitch?
