I recently noticed a small hole in the rear seat of my Maverick. Anyone have tips on repairing such holes in the Active-X material?

I'm more concerned that you're already dealing with a hole in this material. Has your truck seen heavy use?

The white spots look like paint in the photo. Or like color that transferred from an object that was placed against the seat. At least in the photo it does not look like it penetrated the pleather. If the top color coat of the pleather is in fact gone, try finding a sharpie/permanent market of a similar color. Test color first in an inconspicious place. Cosmetic repair is all I can think of. Otherwise, order a new "skin" and have an auto uphosltery shop replace.

Is that a hole in the material or is the outer layer gone exposing the base layer.

I dont believe that is a "HOLE"

I think that is the 'White paint from a carboard box" that transferred from it to the Vinyl. I would try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (Wet) and carefully rub the spot. I betcha it comes right off. If Not take it to FORD. They have some specific cleaner.

The white part is recessed and doesn't rub off. I can also, with my fingernail, feel the edge of the seat material. If I applied more pressure, I think it would further peel the Active-X material away.

Well, damn! I hope you find a good solution because I will have the same seat material when my 2024 Lariat arrives, and I'm hoping for a simple solution in the event I face the same problem.

Well. If that is the case; I don't know how old your Mav is but If it happened to me; I would be standing in front of My dealership waiting for the doors to open. I dont think it should do that even if the seats were 5 years old!
