Has anyone with a hybrid noticed this?
Mine finally died the other morning only 17k miles bought March of 24.I hopped in and the truck would not start. I put a jump pack on under the hood to the proper terminals.
It started right up but gave me every warning under the sun. Window after window of this and that won't work.
I turned it off, and on again. Same issue.
I put into drive and it accelerates on its own to about 35 mph.. I could floor it and no response. I turned it off and on again a few times.
After I parked it and went back and hour or so later it worked just fine but had a check engine light.
Today, the light is gone. And trucks working normal.
Very odd.

That all sounds about right. Except when it happened to me after jumping it actually drove fine with all of the warning lights and indicators going off. The dealership reset it and dropped in a new battery.

This is common with a weak battery situation. And all the warnings and lights usually go away when sufficient voltage is available to run the truck's computers.

Use a (NOCO or other brand) battery tender on it periodically, until the battery issue is addressed by Ford, sometime in the 1Q, 2025. It will prolong your battery lifetime.

I have put the noco on it in the past. I think maybe I should just buy the new battery that works myself.
I don't have the time to call ford and have it towed if it happens again.
