Hey everyone,
Like I said in my last post (reverse light comparison here:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...rison-stock-vs-lasfit-vs-f150leds-ares.80216/ ), I was going to keep going with the rest of the lighting on the truck.
I just finished putting in the @F150LEDs front markers, cargo lights, and 3rd brake light.
Front markers were easy, plug and play, but you do need resistors or you’ll get hyperflash. Once that’s in, everything works fine.
I didn’t do a full comparison on the front markers this time. My Lasfit ones burned out and I ended up losing them, so I couldn’t line them up side by side. Just going off memory vs stock and how these look now.
They’re bright, color looks clean, no complaints there.
Cargo and brake lights I did test properly though — stock vs Lasfit vs F150LEDs, and I put videos up so you can see it.
Cargo lights are the biggest difference by far. Stock is basically useless, Lasfit is decent, and F150LEDs actually lights up the whole bed.
Brake light is less dramatic but still noticeable — just looks sharper with the F150LEDs.
Quick Breakdown
Cargo Lights
Stock; Free; Dim, yellow, barely usable
Lasfit; $20; Solid upgrade, brighter
F150LEDs; $30; Brightest, best spread, actually usable
3rd Brake Light
Stock; Free; Fine
Lasfit; $20; Brighter
F150LEDs; $20; Cleanest and sharpest
Front Turn Bulbs
Stock; Free; Dull (from memory)
Lasfit; $69; Worked fine but mine burned out
F150LEDs; 99; Bright, clean color, need resistor
Front Marker Lights(COMING SOON!!)
