EcoBoost Build Test & Tune Results - w/ Lincoln Corsair turbo upgrade, CVF intercooler, CVF 3.0 catted downpipe, S&B CAI, Borla S-Type exhaust & more

Took my Maverick to Rocket City Dragway for opening day Test and Tune to see what my Phase 1 results would look like. See pics. I'm #6 in the left lane.

Best 1/8 run: 9.1047s @ 76,74 mph.

2022 Ford Maverick 2.0 AWD, FX4, 4KT
Phase 1 setup: Lincoln Corsair turbo upgrade, CVF intercooler, CVF 3.0 catted downpipe, S&B CAI, Borla S-Type exhaust. , 93 Octane HP Tuners conservative tune putting out 310 whp, 318 wtq. Ford performance rear sway bar. Still running OEM 17" Black wheels with original Scorpion ATR tires.

Current set up is tire and traction control limited. I need to find a way to turn the traction control all the way off to get the best numbers. Driver has crappy reaction skills that need improvement.

Phase 2 coming soon: UPR catch can. Ford Performance lowering springs & dampening kit. Steeda front tower brace. Mustang MachE GT 4-caliper Brembo front brakes and big brake package. Fast Wheels FC04 19x8.5 lightweight alloy wheels with 255/45R19 Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires.

Phase 3: More aggressive tune.

No. I had Polished Performance do the work. I highly recommend them to all the North Alabama folks.

I'm hoping to get into the mid-to-high 4s for 0-60 but that might not be doable since I can't fully turn off AdvanceTrac.

His 1/8 mile time comes out to around a 14.11 in the 1/4 mile. The new LOBO in Motor Trend ran a [email protected] mph in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 was 6.1 seconds IIRC Car Driver ran 0-60 in 5.8 seconds in a 22-24 AWD Maverick with the 2.0 EB.

Lightly, only around 2k rpm. I seem to be consistent on the 60ft at 2.11 to 2.19 or so. Once my phase 2 suspension and wheels are put on, I plan to try some new techniques. Sand mode and a more deliberate throttle application. Goal is sub 2s 60 ft.

My bone stock with only 93 octane 2019 Crew Cab 4X4 F-150 with the 3.5 Eco Boost ran almost the same times as Your Maverick but My 60 ft time and 1/8 mile time was just a little bit better than yours.

I looked it up just now. C&D tested a 2022 FX4 at 5.9 0-60 and 1/4-Mile 14.5 sec @ 95 mph. They later tested a '25 Lobo and got 0-60 in 5.8 but the exact same 1/4 mile performance. C&D does a 1 foot rollout in their acceleration testing- not sure if Motor Trend does the same.
