Couldn't be more pleased with our 2024 Maverick Lariat's performance from Atlanta to Grand Junction to Portland to Seattle to Yellowstone, over 6000 miles over 2 weeks. Gas mileage was about 32 mpg. Mountains, no problem; acceleration passing on 2 lane roads, no problem; rain, no problem, 80mph on Montana roads, no problem. Only issue, that has been brought up many times, is the random cab fan turning to high speed without way to reduce. Ford did ask for vin number and local dealer to contact. My response to them was if there is not a known fix, I'm not going to waste time at a dealer that will want to try and replicate a random problem to no avail.

Very cool indeed. Getting ready to do about 1/3 of that mileage in 1/3 of the time, in a few weeks. 🙂

I can live without pics of Atlanta, but Maverick photos in any of that other scenery would be very cool—er!

We have done a road trip to Pontiac Illinois for a Route 66 adventure in this year. It was just short of 6000 miles. Left out of Portland Oregon. Great trip. Like the lead post, no problems great mpg mine was close to 40 the whole trip, of course don't do 80 at any time. Love taking the 2 lane hwy as much as possible. Love my Maverick.

Just got back from 3800 mile trip from Wi. to Idaho. Did flaming Gorge, Tetons, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore. Even went to the top of the world on Beartooth Highway. Ten days and averaged 32 mpg with 2023 Lariat EB. Absolutely no problems and was plenty comfortable. Did notice that above 70 mph the mileage suffered a bit. Ready to go again.

Sounds like a great trip!

When you have the fan issue, is the HVAC in AUTO or Manual mode?

Doesn't matter. Auto, manual, ac, no ac, temp up or temp down.
