Found a 3D printable file for the 2022 Ford Maverick to purchase and download.

Ford Maverick 3D Printable STL Files of 2022 Maverick 1668524266135

With the zip file comes .stl files for the body, interior, chassis, rims, and tires. The chassis doesn't have much detail, but then we generally only look at the outside. I'm thinking about buying a 3D printer so I can print this jewel at 1:43 scale. Here's the link.

If there is anyone out there that can print these to a 1:43 scale, please PM me. Thanks.

I can 3D print these, depending on the dimensions.
One thing to consider is that this model has many details and overhangs that will require supports when printing. So although the outer skin will mostly look good, there will be areas with support scars. Where they are and how many depends on how the print is oriented when printing. Most will be inside the cab and under the bed. Side view mirrors, front bumpers, wheel arches will likely require supports. So It will take some hand finishing/sanding/painting if you want it to look really good. All depends on what your expectations are.

I'm an experienced resin model builder and understand the finishing work required on resin models from 3D printing. That's part of the fun and challenge of resin models.

I do not know if the files will scale properly to 1:43 scale, but am willing to try.

What kind of cost are we looking at?

Thanks,

Howard Chaney

What is FDM? I can send you a zip with the five files.

Looks like a great time to test my white resin! I'll have the top shell done in a couple of hours, barring a print error.

Still needs some cleanup but not bad for the body file. Resin printed at 1/50 scale (my print bed is pretty small but I could change the orientation to make it larger but print time would increase) and the other pieces are in progress. I'll probably update tomorrow once I get it all done, then I'll start painting! Should make a good desktop doodad for me and another will be a gift for my salesman who has been great over the last nearly 13 months.

Anycubic Photon Mono. Paid $200 for the printer about 2 years ago and it worked amazingly, straight out of the box.

Found it on Amazon for $167.00. They also have a ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 4K for 196.99 with essentially the same size capacity, and a bunch of others with higher resolution and larger printing capacity. I assume the 4K is a little bit better resolution. I know little about 3D printers but I'm concerned about getting something that is not size constrained without spending a ton of money.

Has the Anycubic Photon Mono size been a limitation on what you needed to do?

I see that Anycubic also has FDM 3D printers. Which do you recommend, FDM or resin?

Thanks for the info.
